As the CEO of Workforce WindsorEssex, Justin is responsible for the overall performance of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he works with the team so the organization can lead regional employment and community planning for the development of a strong and sustainable workforce. Justin has 18 years of experience working in government and community roles, including 11 years in management positions.

As part of his responsibilities at Workforce WindsorEssex, Justin leads the organization's public communications and employment planning work, including the Local board project and the WE Data Tools initiative. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Justin was the organization's Senior Director responsible for leading the Local Employment Planning Council (LEPC) project, including the management of its expenditures and supervising the day-to-day workload of six staff working in communications, research and project management. Justin joined the Workforce WindsorEssex team in January 2016 as Manager of Intergovernmental Partnerships.

Prior to joining Workforce WindsorEssex, Justin led organizing efforts across Southwestern Ontario for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s successful 2015 election where he was responsible for the recruitment, training, support and motivation of thousands of volunteers in a data-driven campaign that attempted to contact more than 750,000 voters in 21 ridings from Windsor to Halton Hills. In 2013-14, Justin managed the Windsor office of former M.P.P. Teresa Piruzza where he was responsible for operations, communications as well as community and stakeholder engagement. Between 2006-2013, Justin worked in progressively senior operation, communications and outreach roles in the Ontario Government for former Premier Dalton McGuinty, former Deputy Premier Dwight Duncan, as well as former Minister John Milloy.

Justin is married to Christina and they have two sons together.
