Helen started her career with Ontario Power Generation 21 years ago working in Corporate Labour Relations, before becoming the Human Resources Manager at Pickering Nuclear in 2008. She moved on to become the Sr. Human Resources Manager of the Darlington Refurbishment Project in 2012. She was then a Planning & Controls Manager before moving to her current role in field construction, working directly for the $12.8B Darlington Refurbishment clean energy project. In her current role, Helen is helping build an Enterprise wide Construction Services Centre of Excellence for OPG and looks after skilled trades’ resource planning and strategic initiatives. Helen is currently leading a project team with Bruce Power, major contractors and the Construction Trade Unions to ensure there are sufficient skilled tradespeople to work in the nuclear industry for years to come.

Born and raised in Toronto, Helen now lives in Whitby with her husband and three children. She enjoys painting in her spare time and is an avid Toronto sports fan.
