Kevin Bryenton is a 36-year second generation member of Ironworkers Local 721, Toronto, where he joined in 1987. He served his apprenticeship as an Ironworker Generalist and graduated as the Outstanding Apprentice for his Year. Kevin was hired by Local 721 as an instructor in 1999; appointed Apprenticeship Coordinator in 2000 and elected to the offices of Vice President, Examining Committee, President and Business Agent from then through 2009.

Kevin was appointed General Organizer in April, 2009 May of the same year, appointed President of the Ontario Ironworkers District Council. He was appointed 6th General Vice President July 1, 2015. He is the Administrator for the Ontario Trade Improvement Plan and the Chairman of the Canadian Ironworkers Political Action League. He serves the General Presidents Maintenance Committee of Canada as the Canadian Representative.

Kevin has worked as an instructor in the National Training Fund Annual Summer program since 2002 and has had extensive involvement in curriculum, training standard and manual development. Kevin completed a B.Sc.H. and B.P.H.E. from Queens University, a B.Ed from the University of Windsor and is a graduate of the Harvard Trade Union Program and Cornell Universities National Labour Leadership Initiative.

Kevin was appointed Executive Director of Canadian Affairs for Ironworkers International effective July 1, 2019 and elected 2nd General Vice President August 13, 2021.
