Andrea completed her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structure at Concordia University in 2009. After graduating she started working for Inspec-Sol Inc. in Montreal, a testing and inspection firm. Shortly after starting, she had the opportunity to transfer to Kingston with Inspec-Sol Inc. to work in their geotechnical consulting division. While working for Inspec-Sol Inc. and completing geotechnical inspections on site, Andrea quickly realized that she was only involved in a small part of the overall construction process of the various facilities/infrastructure. In 2010 Andrea made the transition from Inspec-Sol Inc. to EllisDon to have a wholistic construction experience in managing projects from start to finish. While in Kingston she worked on several projects including the Royal Military College. Knowing that EllisDon, in a joint venture with PCL, had acquired the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, she transferred to Ottawa in 2017 to be a part of the historical project. Andrea is currently Construction Manager with EllisDon looking after the management of the Parliament Welcome Centre (PWC) portion of the project.
